Types of Acne
Acne comes in many forms and not all acne are the same. Not everyone has the same degree of acne. Some acne are mild, others are moderate while there are some which are severs. - Mild to Moderate acne. Whiteheads, blackheads and papules are signs of mild to moderate acne. Whiteheads are the result of pores which are completely blocked. This traps bacteria and dead skin cells. Blackheads are results of pores which are partially blocked. Partially blocked pores allow some of the sebum, dead skin cells and bacteria to go to the surface. The black color is always mistaken for dirt, but it is not. It is the own pigment of the skin. - Acne Rosacea. This looks similar to acne vulgaris but it affects millions of people, especially people who are over 30 years old. Acne rosacea looks like red rash on the skin and is often accompanied by pimples and skin blemishes.
