Different Models of Shop and Bar Bottle Coolers
You can get bottle coolers from any suppliers of restaurant, shop, and bar equipment, but there are surprising numbers of variations on the basic them so it is a good idea to have an idea of what you want before calling them up. Do you want ones with moveable wire shelves, slanted bottle holder variants, an eye catching branded model, or a simple model than has enough custom shelves for it to be used for stocking other products?
If you are planning to sell soft drinks only in your cooler, it may be an idea to call up the major distributers and find out if you can get a free bottle cooler in exchange for buying their products from them. As part of this deal you would have to commit to buying their products for a certain period of time as specified in a contract, and you would also have to only stock their products in the cooler. So, for example, you might get a branded Coca Cola bottle cooler but you would not be able to stock Pepsi or other types of cola in the cooler.
When buying a bottle cooler you should think about if you really need a brand new cooler. A second hand cooler will do the job just as well but will be a lot cheaper to buy initially and it will probably do just as well. Although you do run the risk of it breaking down early of course! This is especially recommended for those of you that are thinking about starting out in a shop business, where initial costs are very tight. If you were to buy a new cooler and the business were to fail then you would struggle to get anywhere near what you would have paid for it in the first place. So think carefully about just how you are going to get a bottle cooler into your shop!
