- Before the installation of your wall quote stickers, make sure that the surface or wall is dry and cleaned well. The surface should be free of dust and particles. A wall painted with acrylic paint, which has been cured and painted for at least a month, is the best surface to attach vinyl decals.
- In applying the wall stickers, check the corners and sides of each design because those are the first areas that might lift. Ensure that the entire sticker is attached flat on the surface of the wall, glass, or wood.
- Over time, the vinyl decals will collect dust. Wiping the surface with a dry clean cloth will help maintain the design. However, using warm soapy water to clean your wall will prolong the life of your wall sticker designs even longer. Avoid using cleansers with solvent and bleach because these will affect the adhesive and the color of your wall stickers.
- Temperature will also affect your vinyl graphic stickers. If it is exposed to too much heat or direct sunlight for long periods, the adhesive and quality of the stickers will definitely be affected. If the wall stickers are applied outdoors, the wall quote adhesive and color qualities will diminish faster than that of indoor decals.
