Kids Bedding, Pooh Style

Winnie the Pooh has been a favorite character that most of us have grown up with and one we want our children to grow up with.  Although Winnie and Tigger have found their share of mischief since A.A. Milne introduced them to us, they are still among the most lovable and cuddly characters we remember from our childhood.  As parents we can hardly to share the woodland adventures with our children.

Many parents introduce Winnie to their children before the little ones can even recognize them.  In fact, Pooh baby bedding is among the most popular nursery decor today, just as it has been for years.  For the parents with a nursery to decorate, selecting such a lovable bear and all the fun-loving friends is a great way to start.  To make it even easier to decorate, the color selections are no longer as basic as they one were.

Color schemes for Winnie the Pooh crib sets range from the bright colors we grew up with to soft pinks for the little girl and blues for the little boys.  There are even sets that are gender neutral in tans and beige, just in case the parents choose not to know if they are going to bring home a baby girl or boy before birth.  One of the nicest things about the more neutral backgrounds is that parents can easily pick up on a shade of blue in the pattern if they have a boy, or they can play of a shade of pink.  Even the most neutral baby bedding leaves room to accessorize the nursery with more Pooh decor in gender specific colors.

If the little one learns to love Pooh as much as his parents, kids bedding can transition easily from the crib to a toddler bed as the mattresses are the exact same size.  In fact, parents can add a few extra sheets and pillowcases and have a bedroom for the toddler that carries on the same theme for two or three years.  Once a kid falls for the honey loving bear, it is a hard habit to break.
