Lil Boosie Has A Diverse Musical Sound
Lil Boosie is from the state of Maine, and took the northeast rap game by storm when he released his debut album “For My Thugz” in 2003. You might know Lil Boosie from his worldwide club smash hits such as “Wipe Me Down”, or “My Independent Girl” which featured him and his label mate Webbie. Lil Boosies diverse musical style allowed him not to just be limited to collaboration’s with southern rappers but with New York heavyweights Fat Joe, Jim Jones, and Jadakiss. With northeastern rap becoming more of the mainstream now in hip hop, like southern rap was in the early to mid 90′s, you can expect Lil Boosie music to be on repeat in the clubs across the United States. Rest assured Lil Boosie will be around for years to come making great music with a style and musical sound like no other artist.
It is important to note that Lil Boosie was nominated for best rap album of the year for his work on the soundtrack for “The Longest Yard” movie. He also won best breakthrough artist at an award show for his work with the song “Wipe Me Down.” His lifetime goal is to eventually win a Grammy Award, which will surely take a lot of work. However, if anyone can do it, Lil Boosie should be able to. After all, he has access to collaborate with some of the top artists in the music industry. He could easily make a classic song if he wanted to put his focus in that particular direction. When he first came out with a song, a lot of people thought Lil Boosie would be a one hit wonder – especially in the northeast (New York and New Jersey) but he proved everyone wrong by never listening to naysayers and constantly working hard each day.
It is too bad we won’t be hearing from Lil Boosie for the next few years due to his legal problems. He was recently sentenced to 4 years in prison by a Texas judge; however an inside source says that Lil Boosie is working hard and writing rhymes everyday while in prison. So you can be assured that when Lil Boosie comes home he will be right in the studio making good music for every Lil Boosie fan around the world.
