A tree ring seat can be a fabulous lawn and garden ornament as well as an architectural influence. For commencing this project you will need to take a landscape timber and mark at a point that measures forty eight inches from any one end. This mark is where you will begin cutting with the chop saw and make a angle of sixty degrees with the mark and make an inward cut. Cut the board inward on the straight end and make it an opposite facing 60 degree angle which means that you will have a triangular shape of the board. You will need to mark and cut inward at another 48 inches from the farthest point of the angle. Again apply the cut to the mark in an inward direction at the same angle of 60 degrees. This should leave you with a total of eighteen pieces all of which measure 48 inches at their longest.

You will now need to prepare the inner ring by using another one of the landscape timber and measuring and marking forty two inches from one end. Use the similar steps that were used for the forty eight inches mark and use the same sixty degree angle to make the inward cuts with the help of the chop saw. Once you are done with this you will be left with another eighteen pieces which will be measuring at their longest point some forty two inches this time and there will be sixty degrees angles again on each end which are also inward pointing. Once this is done, you will proceed to make the seat and do some preparation for that.

You will need to take the first 2”x10”x10’ board and measure and mark 48 inches from the end. Make an inward cut again at 60 degrees and repeat with the other boards as well. These six pieces will make up the seat of the Tree Ring Seat. You will also accomplish the project better if you prepare the ground properly and make sure the ground you are working on is as even and flat as possible because it will not be easy working near root growths of trees. Prepare the ground by using level and top soil to tamp it down which will make it easier for you to build your project.

First, the test is designed to treat everyone the same. Ask any Kirkland DUI attorney what that means and they will tell you the mathematical formulas are set up in the machine so a man that is six foot three and weighs two hundred fifty pounds is treated the same as a woman who is five foot two and weighs a buck twenty-five. Does that seem right? Of course it doesn’t. But if we were to take into account people’s different body masses, it would make everything much more difficult, so it isn’t done.

Second, the test doesn’t take into account any differing physiological factors that might be present at the time of the test. Have diabetes? Have acid reflux disease? Have a cold? Just not like every other person in the world? Then your test results could be off from what they truly are. But again, prosecutors and cops don’t care because this makes life so much easier.

Third, and finally, the test itself doesn’t just measure for ethyl alcohol, it can pick up other chemical compounds, decreasing the reliability of the test. In essence, when you breath into the tube a laser is run through the breath at a specific frequency and it is supposed to pick up and calculate how much alcohol is there. Problem is, there are other compounds at that frequency that give off false positives. False positives equal higher BAC results. That’s not good.
