The Jack LaLanne Juicer Machines
Jack LaLanne, the godfather of fitness, was born in California in 1914. By 1936 Jack made the bold and evolved move of opening the first health studios that incorporated swimming pools, weights rooms and healthy food. They were also the first health studios that were unisex!
There has been many changes since then but one thing that has remained constant is Jack Lalanne’s enthusiasm for health and fitness. Now 95 years of age, Jack still works out everyday, one and half hours lifting weight and thirty minutes swimming! His line of juicer machines may just be as famous as Jack LaLanne due to the power juicer infomercials. More than one and a half million of them have sold.
Each of the different power juicer models are approximately the same size and provide the same basic common features: a surgical quality stainless steel blade, an impressive 3,600RPM motor that operates very quietly (the motor is also guaranteed for life). There are five different models in total, the power juicer classic, the power juicer express, the power juicer deluxe, the power juicer pro and the power juicer elite. Each model also shares the same sized extra wide feed chute that has a diameter of 3″ in which many fruits and vegetables can go right in whole. So there is less chopping and dicing beforehand.
All models are dish washer safe and sport a pulp collector at the back that can be easily removed for emptying. The power juicer express and the power juicer classic machines are the cheapest of the bunch and retail at around $100. The power juicer express is the slimmest of the bunch and is designed to be more space saving and also comes with a drip free spout unlike the power juicer classic. The power classic and express models are the only ones that come in white plastic while all the other models are made of stainless steel.
The Jack LaLanne power juicer pro is a step up from the classic, express and deluxe models because it contains a stainless steel mesh filter that filters the juice more finely. The power juicer elite is the cream of the crop because it houses a dual mechanism made with patented ‘soy technology’. This allows the power juicer elite to not only make great fruit and vegetables juices but to also grind up soy beans and nuts to make vegetarian milk.
