Types of Wedding Centerpieces
Generally, there are a lot of types of centerpieces for weddings. In this article, we will be tackling each and every one of them.
- Floral Wedding Centerpieces – As the name states, these are flower wedding centerpieces. They go with just about any kind of wedding, whether it is a church wedding, a beach wedding or outdoor weddings. One can mix and match the flowers as one likes, considering that there are a lot of varieties of flowers out there that are available to be used. Make sure that the color of the flowers matches the theme of the wedding. As a tip, use larger arrangements or centerpieces in the central table, while use small ones for smaller tables.
- Edible Wedding Centerpieces – These types of wedding centerpieces are pretty common, because of the fact that they are quite economical, plus entertaining. Not only are they very pleasing to the eyes, but also to the taste buds as well. One can choose from fruit ornaments or arrangements, to chocolate, and other types of edible wedding centerpieces. Just like flowers, one can mix and match them as they please.
- Centerpieces with Candles – For a more intimate and formal approach, centerpieces with candles are pretty good. Basically, they are not just centerpieces with candles, but they are intricately designed ornaments. For example, mirrors and candles go well together to make a very beautiful and pleasing arrangement. They can also be used or paired with edible wedding centerpieces, and even floral wedding centerpieces. Basically, this makes them the perfect complimentary pieces to other types of wedding pieces. However, they can also stand alone as well, depending on the design and arrangement.
As a wedding planner, or as a bride or groom, planning the wedding can be a daunting task. But, considering that there are a lot of types of centerpieces, most of them being elegant centerpieces for weddings, it would not be that hard to choose one.
